About Zagreb Cathedral: the restoration
Zagreb’s cathedral was damaged in the earthquakes of 22 March and 29 December 2020. The first stage of the structural restoration, strengthening the building from the inside, has been completed and the cathedral has reopened. The next stages strengthen the exterior and then restore the twin neo-Gothic spires, which will stay partly under scaffolding for some years.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Zagreb Cathedral: the restoration before you go.
