About The Stradun
The Stradun, officially Placa, runs straight through the old town from Pile Gate to the Clock Tower and the Sponza Palace. Its limestone paving has been polished smooth by centuries of footsteps, and after the earthquake of 1667 it was lined with uniform Baroque houses. Come back at night, when it glows under the lamps.
