Marjan is Split’s green lung: a hill of pine woods on the peninsula west of the city, laced with paths, small chapels and viewpoints. Climb the steps from Varoš to the Vidilica terrace for the classic view, then keep going to the top for the islands, or follow the shore to the beaches below.
