A Roman temple

About Temple of Jupiter
The Temple of Jupiter stands in a narrow lane west of the Peristyle. Its barrel-vaulted stone ceiling, carved with coffers, survives intact, and in the Middle Ages it became a baptistery, with a font carved with the figure of a Croatian king.
Why it's on our list
- A well-preserved Roman temple
- A coffered stone ceiling
- Later a Christian baptistery
