About Paromlin: the new City Library
Paromlin, the 19th-century steam mill behind Zagreb’s main railway station, is being reborn as the new Zagreb City Library and a cultural centre. On a site of about 36,000 m², four historic buildings are being restored and two new ones built, and the library is planned to hold around half a million books. Works are planned to finish around the end of 2026, with the opening planned for 2027.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Paromlin: the new City Library before you go.
