About The Pjaca & Fruit Square

When Split grew beyond the palace walls, the Pjaca, officially Narodni trg, became its new heart, with the Gothic old town hall and elegant palaces paved in shining white stone. Nearby, the Fruit Square has a Venetian tower and Meštrović’s statue of Marko Marulić, the father of Croatian literature.

Why it's on our list

  • Narodni trg, the medieval heart
  • Gothic and Renaissance palaces
  • Meštrović’s statue of Marko Marulić

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with The Pjaca & Fruit Square before you go.
