About Grič Tunnel
During the Second World War a tunnel was dug beneath Gradec, the Upper Town, to shelter people from air raids. Restored and opened to the public in 2016, it is now a handy shortcut between Mesnička Street and Radićeva Street, refreshingly cool in summer, and sometimes a venue for exhibitions and events.
